Congratulations to Caroline Cowling who has been chosen as a finalist for the ‘Home Care Worker’ award for the Care and Support West Awards. Your dedication and hard work does not go unnoticed and we are proud to have you on our team!

Thanks to everyone for their support, please keep sharing our Facebook posts and page!

HomeLife Carers began in 2007 with a small office in Tiverton providing care to just 7 Service Users. Today in 2019 we have four offices; Barnstaple which is North Devon’s largest provider of domiciliary care, Okehampton, Tiverton and Plymouth.

We are exceptionally proud of our teams for their dedication and support in getting HomeLife to where it is today.

Check out our facebook for more staff journeys.

A massive well done to the whole team – it really does take every single one of you to achieve such great results.

‘Staff spoke confidently about people’s specific needs and how they liked to be supported. Through our conversations with staff it was clear they were very committed and kind and compassionate towards people they supported’

These are just some of the comments made by our Service users:

“When it comes to safety, I can’t praise them highly enough. I’d recommend them to Buckingham Palace.”

“We know the staff well now they act like we are friends, always very cheery” and “They (staff) don’t just come here to do a job. They treat me as a real person with rights, needs and feelings.”

Well done to HomeLife Carers for receiving a Gold and Silver award at the OUSTANDING CARE AWARDS DEVON AND CORNWALL 2018. HomeLife Carers were only 1 of 2 care companies from North Devon nominated for the awards, and the only provider to reach the finals from North Devon. Kathy Southouse received the Gold award for Care Assessor of the Year and Alice Billows a Silver award for Care Coordinator of the Year. ‘This is an amazing achievement for the whole team and a huge congratulations to Kathy and Alice. I was very proud to be at the awards supporting HomeLife and great that all the teams’ efforts have been put on the map!’ said Sharon McNulty, Operations Director at HomeLife Carers. ‘There was a good number of companies from both Torquay and Cornwall and this is a huge achievement for us to win for Devon. After a very hard 12 months I cannot tell you what a lift these awards have given us all and for such a great team to be identified. With great achievements being made across the board in the last few months, ongoing improvements and extra support to our office staff, I am sure this is the start of many more achievements to come for 2018.’

Well done to everyone at HomeLife Carers, and especially to Kathy and Alice for the fantastic awards, absolutely deserved!
