Welcome to the North Devon team our new Care Manager Sian Jones!

Over the past 20 years Sian has acquired a vast amount of knowledge and experience within the care sector which is partly why we believe she is perfect for HomeLife Carers.

Sian hosts an approachable and supportive attitude towards her care staff with an ‘open door’ policy and a desire to see all staff progress both personally and professionally.

In addition to her role as Care Manager, Sian also visits our service users in the community alongside our dedicated team of care workers across North Devon.

Sian’s aim is to offer a more personal service, and with a smaller, close-nit team in place we believe this will have a positive effect on both our care staff and service users alike.

These are exciting and promising times ahead for HomeLife Carers and look forward to you joining us on this journey.

Our Story…

HomeLife Carers began in 2007 with a small office in Tiverton providing care to just 7 Service Users. Today in 2019 we have four offices; Barnstaple which is North Devon’s largest provider of domiciliary care, Okehampton, Tiverton and Plymouth.

We are exceptionally proud of our teams for their dedication and support in getting HomeLife to where it is today.

A massive well done to the whole team – it really does take every single one of you to achieve such great results.

‘Staff spoke confidently about people’s specific needs and how they liked to be supported. Through our conversations with staff it was clear they were very committed and kind and compassionate towards people they supported’

Volunteering Opportunities Covering the following Areas: Barnstaple, Bideford, Ilfracombe, South Molton and Torrington Area Do you have spare time you can offer to someone in your community? Could you spare up to an hour a week? Are you a good listener, empathetic and friendly? Volunteer visitors make a real difference in people’s lives. Visiting people is a fantastic way to build a relationship that makes the person feels less lonely and more socially connected. Spend time just to talk, read, light gardening tasks, cook together, enhancing the persons life.
